HTC One M9 Leaks

The latest iteration of the One family is rumored to arrive at IFA 2016 later this month. And according to some recent leaks, it could feature a dual-camera setup on the back, a fingerprint scanner on the front, and a large battery.

But what we really want to know is whether the handset will finally ditch the “One” moniker, following the disappointing reception of previous models like the One X and One XL.

As it turns out, there are plenty of clues pointing towards a name change. For starters, the listing for the alleged One M9 mentions a model number of “171,” which is likely to stand for “M9.” In addition, the purported specs list the device’s display size as 5 inches, just like the original One X, whereas the One X+ had a 4.7-inch screen.

And most importantly, the leaked photos show the same design language as the current One lineup, complete with a metal frame and glass backplate. This suggests that the new One won’t look much different from its predecessors.

Of course, none of this proves anything, but it does make us wonder why HTC hasn’t ditched the “One” branding altogether. We’re sure fans of the brand will appreciate the gesture.

HTC U11 Plus

The HTC U11 Plus has been spotted on a Chinese telecom certification site, revealing some specs and confirming previous rumors about the device.

First up is the U11+’s appearance on TENAA, China’s equivalent to the FCC. The listing reveals the model number “HTC 2Q4C100,” along with the usual array of hardware information.

According to the listing, the device features a 5.5-inch Full HD AMOLED screen, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, 4 or 6GB RAM, 64 or 128 GB internal storage, dual 12MP cameras, a 16 MP selfie snapper, USB Type-C charging port, and IP67 water resistance rating.

As expected, there’s no mention of a headphone jack, although the listing says the audio output is “HiFi.”

Other tidbits include a 3,830 mAh battery, Android 8.0 Ore…

The world knows how important mobile phones are today. And most people use smartphones to connect with others, shop online, watch videos, play games, read news, etc. But did you know that mobile devices aren’t just used for communication purposes? They’re actually useful tools for many things. Here are 10 ways you can use your smartphone to help you out.

HTC U11 Life

We already know quite a bit about the upcoming U11 Life, a successor to the U Ultra. Now we know even more thanks to a report from WinFuture. The site claims the phone will be officially announced on November 2, and it will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor, 32GB of internal memory, a 5.2-inch 1080p screen, NFC, Bluetooth 5, USB-C, and a 2600 mAh battery.

WinFuture also confirms a few things that we’ve heard before. For starters, there will be no 3.5mm audio jack on board. Instead, you’ll get a single USB-C port, along with a pair of Type-C earbuds included in the box.

The handset will run Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box, although there are rumors that it could receive a version of Android 9 Pie. There’s also talk of a “U11 Life” model being sold outside of China, though nothing concrete has been revealed.

HTC Touch Pro ii

The HTC Touch Pro ii is an interesting device. It was first unveiled at Mobile World Congress earlier this year, and now it seems to have made its way into the hands of a German retailer.

The listing shows off the device’s specifications, including a 5.2- inch full HD display, a MediaTek Helio P25 chipset, a 13MP rear camera, a 5MP front shooter, a fingerprint scanner, and a 3000mAh battery.

It’s not clear if the Touch Pro ii will ever see the light of day, but it’s nice to see it getting some attention.

HTC U12+

A new leak suggests that the HTC U12+ may be coming soon. According to GFXBench, the company has registered a trademark for the name “HTC U12+..”

The listing doesn’t reveal much else, but it does confirm that the device will feature a 6.3-inch QHD+ (1440 x 2880) OLED display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC, 6GB of RAM, 64GB of onboard storage, and a 3300mAh battery.

There’s no word yet on when the device might launch, but it’s good to know that it’s still in development.

HTC U19e

According to a recent rumor, the next generation of the U series will be called the U19e. The phone is said to sport a 6.4-inch 1440p LCD display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chip, 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.

There’s no word on whether the device will support wireless charging or any other features, but it should arrive sometime in 2019.

HTC U21

The latest rumor suggests that the next flagship from the Taiwanese manufacturer will be called the U21. This time around, it’s expected to pack a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chip, 4GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, and a 3520mAh battery.

This one isn’t as exciting as the previous two leaks, but it’s still worth mentioning.
