TouchFlo 2D (AKA Manilla2D) Gone Wild!
I got this from Matthew (MobileMatt) Chapman who has been doing a great job skinning TouchFlo 2D for our Tilt/TyTN II’s! He submitted the following for me to post:
"With the progression of TouchFlo 2D (derived from TouchFlo 3D), its popularity is souring through the Windows Mobile world with no end in sight. My Tilt has never been more excited, but how do we keep that excitement going? Well, SKIN IT I SAY!
If you head on over to XDA, you will find TF2D Skins galore as requests keep coming in, skinners cranking them out daily, keyboard pieces a flying, and TouchFlo 2Ds going wild.. And to top it off, there is now a customizer (Manilla 2D Customizer) to keep it all together.
I for one have been cranking skins out to tame the masses. (MobileMatt) So check it out and Cut You PPC Loose!

I have been using TouchFlo 2D on my Tilt for quite some time and it has been very stable and a joy to navigate! I am VERY excited to finally see the TouchFlo 3D on the AT&T Fuze whenever it is finally released! Head on over to Fuze Mobility for more information and DAILY news on the AT&T Fuze!

I agree on the M2D, although some conformity among the themes would be nice. Some themers mod everything, some just a couple of graphics and switching between them can leave your screen looking a mess.
Question: When Fuze gets released, will that increase the likelihood of a more stable M3D for the Tilt (and later, themes)?
ReplyI think MobileMatt’s TF2D skins totally rock! I’ve used several of his skins and earlier themes. I’m looking forward to see what he can do when the Fuze comes out! Keep up the excellent work!!

Can this all be uninstalled? Early versions didnt seem to uninstall AND I am hesitant to try anything that cant be..

I have a ATT 8525, when i try to install the HTC New Contact Card.cab it does not work. The Dload looks like its about to complete then it says the installation was unsuccessfull. Can anyone help.

ReplyI have an HTC Touch (ELF0100) ROM version 2.20.710.28 WWE, Radio version 03.07.90, Protocol version 4.1.13.51, External ROM version 2.20.710.102, with WM6. I installed Manilla 2D build 1.20.19131530.00 but got some issues. First, Windows Start menu appears on black image with no text options. Internet explorer and Youtube launching don’t work at all. Contact shorcuts can’t be saved. After all, I uninstalled M2D but Windows Start menu seems to get crashed.
I’ll appreciated some help in order to fix it.

TF2D works GREAT on my Tilt. It’s almost like having a completely new experience. KUDDO’s to the cooks out there
for coming up with this and the skins!
