Just being honest, I cannot possibly imagine ever “Needing” to have solar energy to charge my gadgets, especially my AT&T Tilt. I do remember back to Hurricane Katrina for example where we lost power for 5 days. It might have been pretty handy to have then. But all that aside, IT’S A SOLAR CHARGER FOR YOUR GADGETS MAN! Many emergency radios (Eton makes several) have hand-cranks that can charge cellphones. If you order one that does not have the proper USB adapter, the manufacturers are pretty good about supplying one if you ask.
