They both are great software. Each of them will serve your device well. I tend to like KaiserTweak, but ACT 3.0 is as packed with goodies as you will find!
Don’t worry about messing anything up, each option to change has a description and an “ADVISED” setting. Play around with the settings and see what works best for you!
Reply@Chris:
These bot KaiserTweak and Advanced Config are great programs because they make it easy for new users like yourself and millions of people that are not programmers to change settings that the developers at AT&T, HTC, and Microsoft never thought of incorporating into the user interface. Both programs are slightly different and while they are very similar each can do a few things that the other cant. Both programs give you a nice little description of what each setting is in case you dont happen to “speak computer”.
@Dave Zaffarano:
This is a good question but it is completely unrelated to this post. I have always wondered this, my solution was to just install the newest version
If you want more people to see your question and increse your chances of getting an answer I would suggest making a new thread in our forums(link at top of page).

I just received my Tilt this past Monday, I am very pleased with it thanks to advice from the everyone here and at TiltSite. My question is do you have a preverence of ACT 3.0 or KaiserTweak? I’m new to some of this stuff, so I don’t understand all of the configuring options. Since the 6.1 upgrade is coming soon, I’ll put one of the two you recommend back on after that.
Thanks
